Last night, police arrested a suspect aboard a Monsey Tours bus in New Jersey. It was initially reported that the passenger was armed with a gun and fireworks. It turned out that he pointed a BB-gun during a fight with fellow passengers.
The incident took place in Montvale, NJ, right after Exit 172 on the Garden State Parkway, en route to Monsey.

The police should have been far more concerned about checking out everyone’s vaccination status, & especially going after any unvaccinated perp without a face mask, which is a violation of NYS law.
If someone would have had a gun, that is anyway protected by the 2nd amendment, so really no big deal.

The next thing is, this happened in New Jersey! New York and New Jersey are two different states. Two different jurisdictions. The narishkeit of New York is not necessarily in New Jersey. That being said a lot of the narishkeit that’s in the New York unfortunately makes it to New Jersey.

If this incident had transpired on a bus shortly before onset of שבת the police couldn’t have cared, and would have been way more interested in asserting their power than שבת which asserts השם’s power
