  1. We already have plenty of tefillos that cover such things.

למשל, we say in the morning after birkos hashachar, יה”ר מלפניך ה’ או”א שתצילני היום ובכל יום מעזי פנים ומעזות פנים מאדם רע….

הלואי we should be mechaven properly in the tefillos we should already have, rather than just piling on more.

  2. To the first posted comment: I wonder if you are mechaven what you are saying in your Amidah after the first Brocha at all???
If you study Gemora, you will see this concept in Brochos about how many prayers to say when entering and leaving.
I wonder if you even think of the first law in the Kitzur about always remembering that you are always standing before G-d.
Do you spend time each day asking Hashem for all the needs of you wife and children or do you believe in “koichi v’otzim youdi” ?
    I wonder ……

  3. to mr have kavanah
why do you have to be the wise guy that knows better
what reb youel is advocating is having a one on one with hashem and expressing feelings
people have no idea what they are davening half sleeping by shacris

  4. We don’t need some Johnny come lately genius telling us to say some new prayers his teacher thought up, when we already have the tefillos that Chazal were mesaken which are כולל a giant range of situations of life.

  5. Please bring more of this special Rabbi, he is very inspiring!!!! He give us a strong dose of Emunah!
This is nothing new, it says that one should say…

Where does it say that? Please give the source where that is from.

The speaker presents his idea as if it is a new thing, a innovation of his teacher R. Schick.

You comment that is not new.

So then you are taking issue with R. Roth?
