  1. i was there let me share a few feelings .
    1. a chasuna is a dream yet it was unbelievable to watch mechutonim and chosson kallah accept the pitiful situation w grace and bitachon , to continue on when the situation is sooo deflating
    2. during the chupa i looked around at the grandparents ( older bobov type) each in a corner w gloves & a 95 mask w a tehilim in hand davening for themselves & the couple ( some stayed in the car and their kids got the brochos
3 facts: there was a small chupa , chosson kallah went into yichud room to wash , whie davened mincha outside and 12 minutes later was mitzva tantz vezehu – i though tof the dp camp weddings
    4. many of the people in the footage are not guests but neighbors that came out onto porches to watch

    • Ive been a part of such chasunos these past two weeks and I had the same feelings. I couldnt get to myself and at times had tears running down my cheeks thinking: “hkb”h you were gozer a gzeira on klal yisroel and the world and look at your children singing and dancing for you” even if every family prepared for this big night they accepted their defeat with grace and continue singing and dancing to our father in heaven. Songs of thanks, songs of praise and songs of hope! Mi keamcha yisroel??????
And yes, these weddings have a serious beautiful chein!

  2. I can actually see the Schinah dancing along K’Y.
Also all the Zeidehs. Can you see all the Babbehs behind the Kallah ?? Wow.

  4. I agree, maybe the one good thing that will come out of this horror is that the cost of simchos will go to almost nothing. We all see and agree that the simcha expressed at these simchos is far greater than the regular simchos that we are used too.

    • The Gadol we asked said absolutely do not postpone the wedding of our daughter.

The chuppah was outside. Only the bride, groom and rabbi under the huppah and everyone else stood more than six feet apart from each other.

Someone called the police and the police came, looked and said no problem, Congratulations.

Other neighbors watched and yelled Mazel Tov form their balconies and windows.
