      All they care about is power. People rationalize that his midos don’t matter. I think it matters how people continue to embrace him. I posted the link to Susan Glasser’s article because it is so well written and gets to the heart of who Trump is. I believe there is and will be a terrible cost to pay for the four years of Trump. Embracing a man so morally bankrupt as Trump cannot fail to have consequences.

      • Yes. A true pity we don’t have morally upstanding people like the Clintons (who sold out our country) and Obama (who would want nothing more than to destroy this country). Sorry we have to have such a rude president that has done just about everything right and has turned this country around! Small price to pay for such leadership….

  3. He did not torch the media. He embarrasses himself every time he goes to a lectern. Why not post his new cure, to inject covid patients with disinfectant and to apply uv light internally? The takeaway From today’s presser was not that he torched the media. Why don’t you highlight Deborah Birx’s face when he suggests she speak with Doctor’s about it. Why doesn’t Matzav post fox interview with Rudy Guiliani where he wants to know why don’t we do contact tracing for people with cancer and heart disease. Who knew these diseases were contagious?

  5. Philip Rucker who asked the question is a respected journalist, Yale graduate, former editor of the Yale newspaperand does’t blink at the toddler like behavior. Sticks and stones ….. That Matzav highlights the insanity as something admirable is shameful. The adult in the room was not Trump.

I do understand that Matzav is a pragmatic publication, and realizes that this imbecile in power is a voracious consumer of all forms of media that discusses his own person, and he has a childish tendency to be quite loyal to the demographics and individuals who support him and stick up for him, and to throw under the bus with the best of his ability those who don’t. Therefore, it is incumbent upon and responsible publication in our community to engage is all the absurd flattery and glowing ridiculousness about this toddler that is possible, in order that our community gain from his positive view of us. We have much more to gain from that than we have to gain from criticizing him. Being as such, this comment will not and should not be published, and likely not the preceding one either.

  15. President Trump is under constant attack. the question that was asked was “do you feel comfortable with telling people to go outside for the sunlight?”
    nowhere did he say if you have coronavirus go outside for sunlight!
    if you think for a second, he is an american that wants everyone to get back to normal so he was happy to announce that sunlight helps get rid of it, implying that with the weather getting warmer it will help our situation!

Trump is not a politician he doesn’t speak like one and doesn’t act like one he is real and says things that are on his mind I guess some people don’t like that character trait of our president but I think that’s why he got elected people were tired of politically correct presidents and trump was just what they were looking for
