Weed Revenue In Colorado Tops $1 Billion

Colorado has generated more than $1 billion by selling marijuana.

The state legalized weed in 2014. Since then, total sales have exceeded $6.56 billion, according to the state’s department of revenue.

The marijuana industry is creating jobs in the state, with 2,917 licensed businesses and 41,076 individuals licensed to do such work, according to the department of revenue.

    $30,000,000,000 (30 BILLION) is lost in tax revenue.

    $15,000,000,000 (15 BILLION) is wasted on needless cannabis law enforcement.

    BILLIONS down the toilet every year due to prohibition laws that make no sense and destroy people’s lives daily. Cannabis is much safer than serial killer booze which is directly responsible for over 105,000 deaths annually or tobacco which kills over 480,000 in the United States alone according to data from the CDC.

    Legalize, regulate and TAX recreational cannabis!!
