Anthony Weiner told BuzzFeed’s Ben Smith on Monday night that his wife, Huma Abedin, will contribute to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign – except, um, Clinton hasn’t exactly announced she’s running yet.
When asked if he knows what role Abedin will play in Clinton’s 2016 campaign, Weiner answered, “I do. I’m not telling you.”
Keep up that strategy of charming the press.
Weiner acknowledged that his scandals have hurt Abedin in the Clintons’ world, but he said Abedin has been “helping out every day” in Clinton’s campaign.
