A national day of mourning for former president George H.W. Bush scheduled for Wednesday has forced the White House to reschedule its annual Chanukah parties.
The two Chanukah receptions, which had been scheduled for December 5, will now take place December 6.
Bush will lie in state in the Capitol Building on Monday and receive a ceremonial tribute at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, to be attended by US President Donald Trump, before being laid to rest at his presidential library in Texas on Thursday.

You can’t make this stuff up. Even in death, Bush wanted to stick it to the Jews one last time. This would never happen if the Bush family decided to pull the plug on dad right before Christmas.
