The recommendation breaks with the Trump administration, as remdesivir recently became the only drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

The WHO panel also found the drug, which is delivered intravenously, had no real impact on whether patients would need to be put on ventilators.

  1. Very surprising that the truth about Remdemsivir should come from the Hill Fake News media. It is indeed mostly garbage, ineffective with many side effects. Hydroxychloroquine is much cheaper and a great treatment for most patients which is why Israel refuses to bring in hydroxychloroquine and sticks with Remdemsivir. Shameful!
