Winter Weather: Foot of Snow Expected With Travel Advisories In Effect

Much of the East Coast is in for more than a foot of snow Wednesday.

Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency Tuesday night in anticipation of a major winter (spring?) storm that will drift across New Jersey around midday.

There was no full travel ban as of Wednesday morning, although there were prohibitions on commercial vehicles and state officials asked those who did not have to drive to skip it.
