Police in New Hampshire said a deadly shooting unfolded early Sunday morning at a golf club in Nashua, leaving one person dead and several others wounded. Officials confirmed that a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the case.
At first, investigators believed that there were two assailants involved. However, after reviewing security camera recordings, they determined that only a single shooter carried out the attack.
One witness recounted that the attacker yelled pro-Palestinian slogans such as “Free Palestine” while firing his weapon. The same witness explained that the suspect was later spotted inside a restaurant near the wedding hall, where someone managed to hit him over the head with a chair. The man, bleeding from the blow, then fled the scene.
Speaking to local station WMUR, the witness said: “He looked like a target, that he was going right for this person. So, I feel terrible for him. What he said was the children were safe and, you know, ‘Free Palestine.’”
