Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf said Sunday there’s no evidence of foreign meddlers trying to forge mail-in votes.
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Wolf asserted, however, foreign influence continues to push disinformation campaigns ahead of the presidential election.
“No,” he said flatly to the question of foreign nations might forge ballots and mail them in.
“We don’t have any intelligence that says [foreign nations] are attacking election infrastructure specifically,” he added.
