A mother and her daughter were hurt today in a car explosion in central Israel, which police suspects may have targeted the woman’s husband, Haaretz reports.
The 29-year-old pregnant woman and her one-year-old daughter were rushed to Kaplan Hospital in Rechovot in a serious to moderate condition. Kaplan Hospital said in a statement the fetus is in stable condition.
The husband is suspected of having links to criminal organizations and a police source said investigators examine if the explosives targeted him.
