The butchered torso of a woman has been found in a Brooklyn park. The shocking discovery was made by a member of the public who walked past the remains in Canarsie Park—at East 86th Street and Seaview Avenue—around 6 p.m. Monday and called the cops.
Sources told the New York Daily News that the woman, whose head was still attached to her torso, was unclothed with her arms and legs chopped off. Local resident Robert Clouden said he saw the body part about 10 feet off a path while he was walking his dog Monday morning, but didn’t call police because he didn’t think it was real. “I looked over to my left and I thought what I saw was a doll. It didn’t have any clothing,” he said. “All I saw was a torso. I didn’t see legs or anything. It was a petite body. It wasn’t that big. That’s what made me think it was a doll.”
