women-of-the-wallFor the first time since being founded twenty five years ago, the rabble-rousing Women of the Wall group, which has done everything it can to defile the Kosel Hamaarovi and wrest control of the site from yerei’im usheleimim, will be holding a “Selichot service.” It will be the first WoW gathering not connected to its regular monthly chillul Hashem gathering each Rosh Chodesh.

The “Selichot service” at the Kosel will be held at 10 p.m. on September 1, when Ashkenazim begin to recite Selichos.

Shira Pruce, who is WoW’s “director for public relations,” said that because WoW does not hold a monthly service on Rosh Hashanah, it would be almost two months before its members meet again, so the “Selichot prayers are the last opportunity we will have to meet together as a group at the Kotel to look back on the year that has passed and look forward and pray for the future,” she was quoted as saying.

This latest publicity stunt still leaves unanswered where these same rabble-rousing women seeking “equality” pray each and every day and throughout the year.

Rosh Chodesh Elul 5773 (Aug 5’13)

We will be clean & we will be bright
We will be healed by Hashem’s light.

Mommy I want to write about the future. I want to write about the glorious future that awaits us. I want to tell you that not you, not I, not the greatest person living today could know or describe what absolute paradise is waiting for us in the world of Moshiach.

When Moshiach comes we will have our Bais HaMikdosh again. It will be the greatest Bais HaMikdosh ever. It will be eternal, and no one will be able to destroy it, and no one will be able to destroy us.

There will be no hatred, no wars, no bloodshed. Hashem will be our Father forever. We’ll bask in the warmth and the pleasure of His light and we will learn. We’ll learn Torah night and day, in every way. And as the years go we’ll become more spiritual. Our bodies will become more spiritual. It will go on and on, the continuation of creation.

Mommy I can’t even describe it, but until we get to that point, it’s going to be so scary and so difficult. The way we see that in Syria now people are being blown up, we hear terrible atrocities that for years we did not hear. We hear heartless killings and blood flowing and bombs and fire and all kinds of terrible things. We hear that there is smoke and there is heat and people can’t breathe and they’re burned to death or they beheaded Shelo Naidah, Shelo Naidah. The cruelty and the degeneracy of this world is getting so terrible, that it seems like Hashem has lowered Gehenom straight into this world.

In the end the true Yidden will be left. We will be weary, tired we’ll be black with soot, but Hashem will revive us, and He will cleanse us of all the ash that has gathered upon us and we will be clean and we will be bright and we will be healed by Hashem’s light.

I’m waiting so much for this moment. I’m so weighed down with the ugliness of this world, with the treachery of this world that has turned into a hell on earth and is only going to get worse. I’m waiting for that great light that will heal our bodies and our souls and bring us to the continual process of creation. Ain Od Milvado.

  2. If you ignore it, it goes away like a bad scratch.
We are making it an issue. when i was there no one said or did anything and the 20 or so people just came and went. We are the fuel to the fire.

  3. Why do you show that ugly picture? Isn’t reading it enough?

This is disgusting enough already. We don’t need to look at their faces.

  4. ah, so it’s NOT that they merely want to gather once a month for an hour. To all you saying just ignore them — burying your head in the sand doesn’t mean the problem isn’t there. Just because you ignore symptoms and dont go to the doctor doesn’t mean you’re not sick. This group was ignored for years and all that happened was that they grew both in number and in virulency. B”H the righteous founders of W4W stood up and decided to finally do something about it. Don’t hamper their efforts. You may not have the strength to do what they are doing, but don’t criticize or minimize their efforts. I wish I had a piece of the s’char awaiting them…

  5. Those who say ignore imagine that they will go away if ignored. They are wrong. The secular media is NOT ignoring it. They will only try to weaken the frum community more if we ignore it.

  6. Why are they hurting the frum community? If they feel their actions are bringing them closer to Hashem let them practice their beliefs. I have seen people do a lot worse things.

  7. Here’s the latest outrage of the WoW.

R”L They’ve now made the Kosel into an Apple iOS 3D game app, for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. C”V Coming soon to Android, according to their website.

The app is called “I Stand with Women of the Wall.” Check it out on iTunes.

The app is free, but it also allows for 2 in-app purchases.

The 1st is for 99 cents, as an app upgrade. The 2nd is for $9.99, where a person can upload his/her own picture.

    Posts from WoW’s Facebook timeline:

“To support the Women of the Wall cause, RDV is launching a dedicated app (iPhones only for now).

This is to show your solidarity and do a little good, while you are at it.

The app is a simple 3D game, where your mission is to get to the Kotel.

For $1, you can upgrade and show your support for the cause, and advance to the next level, with more and more people joining in.

The app will have new twists and challenges on a monthly basis.”

“This is so cool! The first $10 upgrade, Barbara Ostfeld joins WOW at the Kotel in our new app!! You can, too!”

Is this how Women of the Wall shows respect to the Jews’ holiest place – by turning it into a smartphone 3D game app?

  8. Let’s face it, they are at war with Hashem & Torah. They are just one part of the scheme of deJew’zation of the medinah. They are evil women (feminist movement which is a political entity). All this is part of the chevlei Moshiach where every evil is being exposed for their eventual undoing.

  9. I’m impressed that a woman can lift a Torah scroll like that. She must eat her Wheaties!

Your position about WOW is inconsistent. You claim that they are insincere attention-seekers. Maybe you’re right. But if that’s so, the best strategy is to ignore them.
