jungreis-woodbourne-shulWoodbourne, NY – Rav Mordechai Zev  Jungreis of Nikolsberg will be reopening the Nikolsberg  Shul in Woodbourne, NY, beginning tomorrow, Thursday, June 26.

The renovation the shul underwent this winter is finally complete, just in time to accommodate the thousands of Yidden who call the Catskills their summer home, with the Woodbourne Shul at its epicenter.

The opening date coincides with the Woodbourne Shul’s inaugural Thursday night cholent of the summer season. A record 10 crock pots of the delicious delicacy will be doled out to delighted visitors after their long drive from the city.

  1. Hey how come our shul,South Fallsburg Shul is not mentioned here? We have a minian three times every day all year long. We love rebbi Jungreiss and we are happy that he got the shul going again after many years of being closed. We still remember Rabbi Lesin who was the rabbi there many years ago.

This statement is an insult to all the local shuls that operate throughout the year through great hardship. Please be sensitive as a Torah Jew ought to be.
