Israeli attorney Yakov Weinroth, one of Israel’s leading lawyers and an attorney for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, passed away Tuesday at the age of 71 following a battle with cancer.
The Prime Minister eulogized Weinroth Tuesday, praising Weinroth on Twitter for his “sense of justice and loyalty to his people”.
“My wife and I are saddened by the passing of attorney Jacob Weinroth. Jacob had a great personality, great wisdom, sharpness of mind, and a great sense of justice and loyalty to his people.”
“This is a great loss to his family, to his acquaintances and admirers, and it is a great loss to the Israeli world of law.”
