This morning, an 18-year-old Jewish man was arrested during a tour of the Har Habayis for saying Shema Yisroel. During the arrest, police broke the man’s spectacles.
The man said Shema Yisroel while addressing the members of his group, commenting on current events, including the fires and the war against Amona, saying, “I don’t know about Heaven’s thinking, but I know that Hashem told the Bnei Yisroel, ‘You don’t care about My Torah, or about the site of the Bais Hamikdosh, so what does in matter if you think it’s the fault of the Arabs or not. It’s our fault. So we have to cry out in a loud voice, Shema Yisroel.”
Police immediately rushed toward the man and arrested him.

It’s Asur to go on Har Habayis, isn’t it?
Rambam
come on, Matzav- please include the words “on har Habais” in your title! it’s very misleading!
That young fool is a rodef – besides for the fact that standing ANYWHERE on Har Habayis now is asur, according to all ACCEPTED Poskim.
And you guys are dishonest: he was not arrested for “saying Shema Yisroel”!
Rambam?
Rodeif?! How is he a rodeif? The islamonazis are going to try to hurt us regardless of this guy saying krias shma on Har Habais. Perhaps it is your kind, the ones trying to appease the unappeasebles, who are rodfim.
He was transgressing an issur kares.
