rav Yisroel BelskyAs reported earlier this week on Matzav.com, Rav Yisroel Belsky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, is in need of a refuah sheleimah

In a message to alumni of the yeshiva, Torah Vodaas announced that this Sunday, 22 Teves/January 3, a yom tefillah will be held at the yeshiva as a zechus for Rav Belsky.

“We are all very concerned,” the message read. “Be’ezras Hashem, with his devoted mishpachah at his side, the right course of treatment will be found quickly to restore the rosh hayeshiva to good health, so that he will continue to lead us ad bias Moshiach tzidkeinu.”

Every menahel in Torah Vodaas “is already instituting various new programs of learning and davening with the talmidim,” the yeshiva said.

Sunday’s program will begin with a seder limud at 9:30 a.m., followed by divrei hisorerus from Rav Yosef Savitsky and Rav Yisroel Reisman, roshei yeshiva of Torah Vodaas.

Tehillim will be recited betzibbur at 12:15, followed by Minchah at 12:45 p.m.

The program will be held at the yeshiva, located at 425 East 9th Street in Kensington, Brooklyn.

All are asked to continue davening for Rav Chaim Yisroel ben Chanah Tzirel.
