He has written several seforim on halacha and on the moadim called Gevuras Akiva. In addition, he releases a gilyon on the parsha in halacha and aggada every week.

Rabbi Kostner previously learned at Yeshiva of Far Rockaway, Yeshiva Shaar HaTorah and Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim.

  1. Both my father a’h and I lbc’l suffer from Essential Tremor which causes shaking hands sv similar to Parkinson’s R’L.
    He asked the same Shila years ago to Rav Yitzchoch Sternhill tz’l (the mechaber of the Kochav Yitzchoch) of Baltimore. He was advised to take a full cup (not quite overflowing as is the normal minhag) and hold it with his right hand while the Becher sits in its dish on the table. If possible raise the becher a ma shawho off the table when he makes the brochos. This way he “holds” the becher without spilling it or dirtying his clothes.
