  1. This is why I do not like the word “masmid”.
    The word masmid can imply that learning is a “religious devotion” not a means of acquiring Torah knowledge.
    The organization Dirshu with its focus on actual knowledge gained and not on hours learned will greatly strengthen Torah knowledge within the Jewish nation.
