Official Shanghai media is reporting that 35 people were killed in a stampede during a New Year’s celebration. Weibo and Xinhua say the deadly stampede occurred minutes before midnight in the Bund, a waterfront area in central Shanghai.
In addition to the casualties, 42 people were reportedly injured. Read more at CCTV.

Oh well. Their Government claims that they have “too many” citizens anyhow, so to knock off a few saves the government from having to do so. They can only have “one” child in that crazy Country.
