NYC Mayor De Blasio Discusses Legionnaire's Disease Outbreak In The BronxNew York City Mayor de Blasio’s upcoming three-day visit to Israel will include a meeting with Palestinians at a bilingual school that serves both Arabs and Israelis near Yerushalayim, officials said Wednesday.

The school is part of the Hand in Hand network that serves 1,350 kids throughout the country.

The mayor’s office confirmed the meeting a day after City Hall spokeswoman Amy Spitalnick said there were no meetings planned with Palestinians.

“We will let you know when we have a schedule to share but, off the record, not sure where you’re getting your info from, but there are no meetings along those lines scheduled,” she said.

Officials also acknowledged Wednesday the administration had been mulling a visit to the West Bank town of Ramallah. But the visit was canceled for security concerns.

  1. “Cancelled for security concerns”
Why? The peace-loving, neighborly inhabitants of the West Bank and Ram-allah would certainly welcome him warmly! All he’s got to do is bring his lovely Dante along and he’s likely to receive a heroes welcome!
