Dow Closes at Five-Year High

The U.S. stock market soared to a new five-year high today, as the Dow Jones industrial average rose 175 points, decisively crashing through the 14,000 barrier.
Despite threats from home (the sequester) and abroad (Italy-inspired Euro turmoil), investors seem to be convinced that U.S. economic growth is solid and companies will continue to prosper. Read more at CNBC.

Here we go again. When will they ever learn? A healthy Wall Street doesn’t mean a healthy economy. People working means a healthy economy. Wall Street’s “exuberance” got us the last crash. Are we going to let them take us there again?
