Iran Prez Tweets Deal, Then Deletes

Someone on Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s social-media team is about to lose their job after his official Twitter account announced a nuclear deal. “#Irandeal is the victory of diplomacy & mutual respect over the outdated paradigm of exclusion & coercion. And this is a good beginning,” he tweeted before deleting it.

He then posted a revised version, adding an “if”: “If #IranDeal, victory of diplomacy and mutual respect over outdated paradigm of exclusion and coercion. And this will be good beginning.”

Rouhani is expected to speak today about the nuclear negotiations. Read more at Twitter.
