The New York Knicks’ Kyle O’Quinn has taken on an interesting side job: bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah entertainer.
Through his agency, O’Quinn booked a few appearances at bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs in the area.
“The parties are crazy,” O’Quinn said. “I did one, did two, and the next thing you know, I was just Bar Mitzvah Man.”
“A lot of times, I go and I stay longer than I’m supposed to because it’s so much fun,” O’Quinn said. “The food’s always good. One thing I can say about these families,” O’Quinn added, “they all know how to party.” Read more here.

SICKENING!!
Now I know why he has a beard
I hope he comes to my BM in boro Park parshas BO, u know.
Wow! Kiddush Hashem! Mi kiamcha Yisroel? Kol Yisroel araivim zeh lazeh. Can I book him as a badchan for my daughters wedding?
why is this on matzav?
These scenes have a Bar and a Bat but nothing to do with Mitzvah.
So this is what a seudas mitzva of a bar mitzvah is becoming all about? Partying with entertainment and food….
Sad that its true. Todays generation we don’t go to enhance the friend/relative Simcha. We go to party and enjoy ourselves with our friends.
Very sad we can steep so low. So what’s next? Inviting obama or Hillary to your Simcha so it can be the talk of the town instead of the seudas mitzvah it’s supposed to be?
The knicks are not like they used to be. No more Ewing, Oakley, Starks, McDaniel, etc…Patrick Ewing was a tremendous dedicated ball player. He played to win. He always gave it his all. It’s shame he wasn’t appreciated while he was here. All they have now arw a bunch of overrated spoiled brats.
This is what happens when we get too comfortable with the goyim
Gevalt
While the knicks of old were taaka good they were never good enough to get past the team from the windy city. I’m glad this player was fortunate to be on the right side.
I hear you.
Who said you could take with each other???
Don’t invite him for him for פרשת תזריע. He will get offended when he hears נגע many times.
Good catch
He never said they were orthodox bar mitzvahs.
This is mamash a “slam dunk” for him! He should be zocheh that the baalei simchoh and their family and guests “bask et” the glory of his performance. I would give him “3 pointers” to help his act, but he would probably just “block” my comments, and maybe “flop” at the suggestion that I can “assist” him. Anyway, the heimishe would never use him, unless he can get in “backdoor”, and swoop in to take “charge” of being misameach everyone there, include those who like to stand on the sidelines.
What about “head fake”?
