Obama Snooze-fest

As his boss spoke about creating a consumer-friendly credit card system yesterday morning, National Economic Council Chairman Lawrence Summers fell asleep. Summers at first appeared to be nodding off while President Barack Obama delivered brief remarks after a meeting with credit card executives. Then he did nod off, with his head on his hand, then with his head falling off his hand, according to a pool report. It’s not the first time Summers has publicly dozed off on the job. He first fell asleep during a White House “fiscal responsibility summit” in February.

The pool report futher noted: All other officials in the room appeared fully awake.
