Obama Would Veto Keystone Pipeline Bill

obama1If the bill allowing for the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline reached his desk, President Obama would veto it, according to White House press secretary John Earnest.

“If this bill passes this Congress the president wouldn’t sign it,” Earnest said Wednesday. The comments come as a new, Republican-controlled Congress was sworn in. On Sunday on Meet the Press,

Sen. John Barraso said, “The president is going to see the Keystone XL pipeline on his desk.” Read more at the Washington Post.

  1. Economic progress is still being held hostage by the massive money-stuffed environmental lobby.

    There is no logical reason for Obama to oppose Keystone so vehemently and to halt economic progress other than because he is firmly beholden to the likes of radical rich man Tom Steyer and the leftist Greenies.

  2. The GOP should call his bluff, on Keystone and other initiatives to get the US back on track. Let Obama veto all he wants. It will only make things look better for the GOP in 2016.
