Thousands heard divrei hisorerus from Rav Moshe Green, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Yeshiva D’Monsey; Rav Chaim Leib Epstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Zichron Meilech in Brooklyn; Rav Ephraim Wachsman, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Meor Yitzchok of Monsey; and Rav Dovid Olewsky. Rav Avrohom Yosef Rosenblum, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Shaarei Yosher of Boro Park, had been on the schedule but did not address the gathering.
The speakers offered words of chizuk and guidance to the wonderful mechanchim in our communities who devote their full effort, each day, to the chinuch of Yiddishe neshamos.
See below for photos of the event:
Who was taking care of the wonderful Kiderlach while this was going on?
What was this about? A specific mahalach in emuna?
The event took place in the evening, when the children aren’t in school.
The event took place in the evening; when the children aren’t in school.
I hope their parents take care of them in the evenings. If they did and didn’t rely totally on the schools for their children’s chinuch maybe we wouldn’t need this asifa
to #1 do you have a wife?
Wonderful asifa, if you are a rebbe & weren’t there your loss is great & you should find out a way to hear the speeches given.
May HASHEM give all these mechanchim endless Hatzlacha in all their avodas hakodesh
HaGaon HaRav Dovid Olewski is Rosh Yeshiva of the Gerrer Yeshiva Bais Yisroel of Boro Park and one of the foremost speakers of the Torah world. He spoke at the Siyum HaShas in Met Life stadium last summer…
Chaim, #1, we were learning how to take care of your kids all day, every day, so that you can go about your merry way!
It was a most inspirational maamad!
ANy audio from this event?
What was discussed?
To number 1 chaim it was after school and seder
I was there last night ,although it was quite lengthy
There was not a dull moment the roshei yeshiva spoke well, to the point, and with full of pain and ahavah towards klal yisroel like true gedolim feel.
Bh ?? ???? ????? we still have leaders that are very concerned with our future.
No poking fun no putting down people JUST plain old , heartfelt guidance to ensure proper yiddishkeit ensues for remainder of our galus
This was last night at 7:30. Hopefully the parents were taking care of the kinderlach…
to Chaim!
