In a New Year’s Day homily delivered at St. Peter’s Basilica on Monday, Pope Francis called for an end to “empty chatter” and urged the world to spend more time observing silence in 2018. He said doing so would “keep our freedom from being corroded by the banality of consumerism, the blare of commercials, the stream of empty words and the overpowering waves of empty chatter and loud shouting.”
The pontiff did not address his recommendations to any person or thing in particular, but he warned against the “false” depiction of reality created by social media earlier this year and urged young people to find “meaning” outside of Twitter. He wanted the same thing last year! And the year before, and still the previous one…. Good Luck.
is it bad to agree with the pope?
Buy a car, Mr. Pope. The commercialism will not let your lose sleep the speed limit!
And all the Fortune 500 companies smile.
Happy New Year.
Well, this guy should practice what he preaches. Let him lead by example.
Great that Matzav delivers דברי חיזוק, מוסר, & השקפה from the אבי אבות הטומאה
Francis, practice what you preach.
He opens his mouth against Jerusalem belonging to the jewish people. Popes who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
This Satanic avi avos hatumah who participates in child sacrifices and worse should be the last person to preach.
He also declared “Muslim terrorism does not exist.”
In another instance he criticized Trump whom he compared to Hitler and said open door to migrants is more than national security.
And he’s very for murdering babies – another reason he’s upset at President Trump.
I think people are allowed to listen to the pope instead of rejecting everything he says. People are allowed to agree with the pope.
Jews have no obligation to listen to this Klippa, the avi avos hatumah.
He’s a member of the NWO Illuminati which says it all.
So nice of him to join the “Stop the Talking in Shul” movement.
