Rain fell in central Israel on Motzoei Shabbos and this morning, an anomaly for the usually arid month of August.
A light drizzle was reported in Tel Aviv, Rishon Letzion, near Ben-Gurion Airport and in a few other central cities.
It rarely rains in Israel in August, but this is not as unheard of as one would think. Although it does not happen every summer, rain has fallen in August several times in the past decade.

The Tel-Avivites want so much to be like the nations, so their weather will be like the other nations too. Hashem has a sense of humor.
In 1977, I spent Shavous in Jerusalem, in the Old City. There was a rainfall during the day.
LOL
THANK HASHEM & PRAISE HIM FOR EVERYTHING HE GIVES US & NEVER STOPS GIVING
