honigGeorge Helmy, Deputy Chief of Staff for New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, made a special trip Tuesday morning from Washington, DC, to meet with Reb Duvi Honig, founder and director of Parnassah Network – Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce.

At Parnassah Network – Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce Lakewood headquarters, Reb Duvi shared his public policy vision on how to stimulate economic development on a state and national level, and for the Jewish community and other minorities in particular. The two discussed various original proposals, based on the Parnassah Network – Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce approach to help individuals succeed in the modern day economy.

“We have exceptional experience in understanding what everyday Americans require today, and how many conventional economic development models are badly outdated,” says Reb Duvi. “Our track record of empowering people with the right tools, at an efficient pace, through networking, education and other innovative resources speaks for itself.”

Mr. Helmy was very enthusiastic about the initiatives discussed, and vowed to work together with Senator Booker to help bring them to fruition through the legislative process and by networking with high level governmental and corporate figures. He stressed that his trip to New Jersey – exclusively for this meeting – demonstrates the high regard that Senator Booker has for Reb Duvi and Parnassah Network – Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, and the unique economic successes that they’ve already brought about.

More details about specific legislation and other programs are expected in the months ahead.
