Renewal has notified Matzav.com that a kidney transplant is taking place at the present time. Sharon, the wife of Lakewood, NJ, Township Committeeman Steven Langert, a mother of 5, is donating a kidney to Orly, from Queens, NY. Even though it is so close to Pesach, Sharon has agreed to donate now, as to help Orly avoid the need of going on dialysis (which she would have needed to to undergo already had the transplant not happened now).
Orly, a mother of a young girl, will IY”H get a new life because of Sharon’s amazing selfless act.
Boruch Hashem, kidney transplants have a great success rate. However there needs to be Siyata Dishmaya that it be successful. Please take a minute to say tehillim for the success of the transplant.
The donor’s name for Tehillim is Shifra Rachel Bas Bracha Michla.
The recipient’s name for Tehillim is Orly bas Sarah.

i guess we are going to hear about this in the local Lakewood circulars for the next six months….
Providing the ladies gave permission, why don’t you print pictures of those ladies and give recognition of their sacrifices.
I can’t believe you put a picture up of husband and not the wife. What are you afraid of. Are you the Taliban??
Kol hakavod!
We are proud of you!
To posters #2 and #3: Would you like to see a picture of the kidney, too? What’s your point?
The donor’s husband is a committeeman, a public figure. She is a tznuah who knows that ‘kvuda bas melech pnima’. The recipient’s husband is not pictured, either. If they don’t have any problem with it, why should you?
