matzav-copyright-design-for-sloatsburgMatzav.com has learned that tomorrow, Tisha B’Av, there will not be any minyanim for Minchah at the the Sloatsburg rest area, the popular stop for Yidden traveling the New York State Thruway between Brooklyn and the Catskills or Kiryas Yoel. Those driving to the mountains tomorrow should be sure to arrange their schedules so that they can daven with a minyan elsewhere. (Remember that tefillin is worn at Minchah tomorrow.)And again, Rabbi Bernard Freilich, special assistant to the Superintendent of the New York State Police, and other askanim have reminded the public to be kind and courteous and to follow the rules that have been established at the Sloatsburg rest area.
