“Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade told Eric Trump early Tuesday that the GOP “blew it” by not having a repeal and replace plan for ObamaCare.
“They set themselves up for this,” he said, referring to Democrats campaigning heavily on health care.
Trump, one of the president’s sons, was explaining the Democrat’s midterm election strategy as “let’s double everybody’s taxes, let’s attack law enforcement and abolish [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement],” when host Steve Doocy interrupted him to say “they’re running on health care.”
“Which is a system, which is truly ironic to me, because it’s a system they broke,” Trump answered.
“You didn’t get to keep your doctor, you didn’t get to keep your plan, you didn’t save $2,500 and at the end of the year when you couldn’t afford the plan you didn’t want you got fined.”
