President Donald Trump’s $2,800-per-ticket fundraiser at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., earlier this month did not result in any COVID-19 outbreaks, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy told reporters Tuesday.
“We’ve done everything we can do,” Murphy said. “Somerset County … has done everything they can do, as has Bedminster. We’re not aware of any outbreaks.”
Trump held the event at the club just hours before he announced he tested positive for the novel coronavirus. More than 200 people and 19 Bedminster staff members attended.
