The Israel Electric Corporation clarified Friday morning that the malfunction that had caused a power outage in many areas across the country was not caused by a cyber attack.
Just before 1 am (Israel Winter Time) between Thursday and Friday, a power outage was felt across Israel in the cities of Jerusalem, Ashdod, Ramat Gan, Rishon LeZion, Herzliya, Kefar Sava, Daliyat al-Karmel and more, outlet Ynet reported.
