Eighty-two-year-old liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., announced Monday he is running for reelection, saying American democracy is in question during difficult times for the country and the world.
Sanders, aiming for his fourth term in the Senate, maintains his status as an independent, having previously served as a Democratic congressman for 16 years while continuing to caucus with the Democrats.
In a video message accompanying his announcement, Sanders underscored the significance of the upcoming 2024 election, framing it as potentially the most consequential in recent memory.
“This election will determine whether the United States remains a functioning democracy or succumbs to authoritarian tendencies,” Sanders remarked, highlighting issues such as income and wealth inequality and the influence of wealthy campaign donors.
Reflecting on his tenure as chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, Sanders emphasized his commitment to addressing the needs of Vermonters amidst challenging circumstances.
Touching upon a contentious issue, Sanders reiterated his stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, affirming Israel’s right to self-defense while condemning what he deemed as disproportionate actions targeting the Palestinian population.
Expressing opposition to further financial support for the Netanyahu government, Sanders argued against allocating additional funds from U.S. taxpayers towards what he characterized as a destructive conflict in the region.

Biden seems to have proven how religious Jews believe all mainstream fairy tales just like they believed the plandemic and the “safe and effective vaccine” that “cures” that pandemic. Just like they didn’t believe the doctors and nurses murdered their patients, they don’t believe that all public figures are actors. They have no clue what’s really happening.
