Gov. Kathy Hochul hosted a coronavirus briefing Tuesday afternoon to update New Yorkers on the state’s ongoing pandemic response efforts.
The governor announced the expansion of the state’s SUNY/CUNY full scholarship vaccine incentive for kids 5-11 years old. Kids in that age group who received the COVID-19 vaccine will be entered into a pool where 50 winners will later be selected.
This new incentive program — dubbed “Vaccinate. Educate. Graduate.” — builds on the state’s earlier “Get a Shot to Make Your Future” campaign for 12-18 year olds who got vaccinated.
“I’m proud of New Yorkers for all of the progress we’ve made in fighting this pandemic,” Gov. Hochul said. “Each day we get closer to beating COVID-19, but we cannot get complacent. This vaccine is our best weapon, and now children can begin getting vaccinated as well. We must all be an ambassador of this vaccine and tell our loved ones to get vaccinated as soon as possible.”

Maybe she knows something we don’t. What are the chances of those 50 kids being alive and well by the time they’re ready for college?

The title of the article is: “Full College Scholarship is New Vaccine Incentive For 5 To 11-Year-Olds,” and the article says that the name of the program is: “Vaccinate. Educate. Graduate.” HOWEVER, the article explains how the program is going to work: “Kids in that age group who received the COVID-19 vaccine will be entered into a pool where 50 winners will later be selected.” This explanation of the program clearly states that the program IS NOT that EVERY child who gets the shots will get a college scholarship!! Instead, the program is that each child who gets the shots, his name will be put on a list; then, someone will — randomly and without looking at the names??? — pick out 50 of those names, and the 50 children with those names will get the scholarships.
So, again, even though all the kids are being told “Vaccinate. Educate. Graduate,” the program IS NOT that every kid who gets the shots will get a scholarship; instead, it is that out of the thousands of kids who will get the shots, only FIFTY of them will actually be getting scholarships.

in seven to fifteen years from now when these children will have reached the ages of going to college, many of these children will have died from the excessively harmful effects of the excessively dangerous Covid vaccines. Very many of them who did not die will nevertheless have had severe reactions from the vaccines that will have left them severely maimed for the rest of their lives. Very, very many of them who did not have severe reactions will nevertheless have endured some negative effects that will make it difficult for them to normally function and thus will not be able to properly do the rigorous academic college work.
So, for a large number — maybe even the vast majority — of the children who take the vaccine, the promise of a scholarship to college will turn out to simply be a meaningless pipe dream of a pie in the sky that will never be relevant to them.
