As the fourth-highest commander in Hamas, Sa’ad plays a crucial role in the group’s top command and decision-making processes.
Due to his senior position, Sa’ad holds significant intelligence information and has extensive knowledge of the tunnel and rocket infrastructures, as well as the various hiding places used by Hamas and its operatives.
The IDF is confident that the assassination attempt was successful and that Sa’ad has been eliminated.
