On Sunday morning, community members from the Neve Shoham neighborhood in the town of Eli in the Binyamin region were shocked to find parts of their Shul smeared with feces.
The disgusting finds were located on doors, the Shul electronic notice board, and a flag, amongst other places.
The police have opened an investigation into the desecration of the Shul.
According to Avidan Beit Yaakov, the chairman of the Eli Council: “We submitted a report to the police, we don’t know of any conflict or any religious or nationalist incident in this regard. We have no idea what the direction is and why this happened.”
