Former President Donald Trump celebrated his 78th birthday in Palm Beach, Florida, by making a significant pledge to his supporters: the creation of an American equivalent to Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system by the next election cycle.

During the celebratory event, Trump sharply criticized President Joe Biden’s administration while laying out his vision for a comprehensive domestic defense program.

“We will build a great Iron Dome over our country by next term,” Trump proclaimed, emphasizing the system’s importance as a protective measure against missile threats.

He highlighted the economic advantages of the project, including job creation and advancements in technology, and assured that the system would be entirely produced within the United States.

Trump drew parallels to former President Ronald Reagan’s earlier defense aspirations, noting that technological progress now makes such a defense system viable. “It’s all going to be made in the States,” he reiterated, framing the initiative as a substantial opportunity for the younger American generation.

Alongside his defense plans, Trump took the opportunity to criticize President Biden’s immigration and Middle East policies, holding them responsible for worsening conflicts and issues. Despite their political differences, Biden extended birthday greetings to Trump via Twitter, recognizing their shared milestone of turning 78.
