20 Hurt in Knife Attack at School

pittsburg-knifingTwenty students were reportedly injured at around 7:15 a.m. today at a Pittsburgh-area high school during a knife attack. According to a public-safety official for Westmoreland County, the suspect, a sophomore, is in custody, and four of the victims were seriously injured.

As of the 10:30 a.m. press conference, two victims were undergoing surgery, while one was about to go into an operating room. One eyewitness said the suspect was tackled by an assistant principal. Read more at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

  1. It is sad no one knows how to protect themselves anymore for they are always waiting for some one to protect them, all some one had to do is throw a chair at him and he would have fallen and the knives would have been thrown out of his hands.
