A 76-year-old man and six others were arrested Tuesday by British police for allegedly tunneling into a London vault last month and stealing millions in cash and valuables.
Authorities say the thieves drilled through a cement wall before breaking into 72 boxes that contained millions of dollars in jewelry and cash.
Police say they recovered bags of “high value property,” some of which may have been stolen from the boxes, at one of the defendants’ addresses. Read more at The Guardian.
