מכה כפולה ומשולשת: ANOTHER LEVAYA TRAGEDY: Hachosson R’ Yitzchok Samet z”l

yitzchok-samet19:15 a.m.: IL: It is with immense sadness that we report the passing minutes ago of hachosson R’ Yitzchok Samet z”l, an 18-year-old chosson from Toldos Aharon. Yitzchok is the second fatality whose life was claimed by the packed crowd at the levaya of Rav Shmuel Halevi Wosner z”l.

Klal Yisroel has been mourning the petirah of Reb Mordechai Gerber z”l, who perished amidst the crush at the crowded levaya. The tragedy has now grown with the passing of Yitzchok, who had been at Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah fighting for his life. He succumbed to his wounds minutes ago.

Yitzchok was a son of Rav Moshe and Mrs. Aidel Samet of Yerushalayim. Mrs. Samet is a daughter of the famed Rav Meir Vallis. Yitzchok cousin, Avrohom Vallis z”l, was killed last year in the tragic tractor attack in Yerushalayim.

Yitzchok was a talmid of Mosdos Toldos Aharon. At the end of the month of Shevat, he got enagaged to a daughter of Rav Moshe Frish and a granddaughter of Rav Doniel Frish zt”l.

Described as an accomplished, successful ben Torah with a pleasant disposition who was beloved to all, Yitzchok had gotten engaged just one month ago. Instead of his wedding, his family and friends will now attend his levaya.

There are no words to describe the feelings of Jews around the globes as they learn of this second tragic passing in a matter of days.

The levaya will be held at 3 p.m. at the Toldos Aharon Bais Medrash in Meah Shearim, followed by kevurah on Har Hazeisim.

May Hashem end all the suffering.

Umachah Hashem dimah mei’al kol ponim.

What a terrible tragedy and loss to befall klal Yisroel on Pesach. This is the Yetzer hara that is trying to ruin the yom tov of freedom for k lal Yisroel.

Anyone ready yet to confess and admit to Hashem that it’s time for TESHUVA?

Anyone even think this just happened by coincidence? Is there such a thing as coincidence?

This is just terrible. When are we making an official day and time for Teshuva Kinnus and fasting? After yom tov is over.

May we all do teshuva very soon so we don’t lose any more people in this time of non stop tragedies

May his neshama have an aliya

  3. Teshuva? Maybe it’s time to stop acting like vilde chayos ….on chol hamoed trips, on the roads, at levayos…..time for some consideration and caring for other people

  4. While some pushing does occur to get close to the Aron (or Mitah) of a Godol , that was not the cause of the unfortunate tragedies that happened in this case , there was C’V no “stampede to get close to the Aron” like some news sights & individuals are trying to portray…..It was poshut poor planning , they should have had the stairway cleared before entering it with the Mitah….L’Maaseh they entered the stairway with the Mitah when the it was jam packed with people & that’s what caused people to fall on top of each other on the stairs & ultimately caused the great tragedy , ????? ????? ?? ??? ?????? ????? ?????? ???? ?? ?????
