Bionic Hand Gives Man Touch Back

prosthetic-handFirst an eye, now an arm. Researchers in Europe have successfully surgically restored a man’s touch with a prosthetic hand, nine years after he lost his hand in a firework accident.

This is the first time sensory feedback has been restored, which means the amputee can control the prosthetic.

“Suddenly you could see my left hand was talking to my brain again and it was magic,” said the Danish man, Dennis Aabo Sørensen. Read more about it at USA Today.
