Cruz: ‘Global Warming’ Not Supported By Data

sen-ted-cruzSen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, questions whether global warming is real, arguing that the “data are not supporting what the advocates are arguing.”

“The last 15 years, there has been no recorded warming. Contrary to all the theories that – that they are expounding, there should have been warming over the last 15 years. It hasn’t happened,” said Cruz.

Cruz spoke to CNN in an exclusive interview following an event here to promote his new energy plan, which he says he will formally introduce in the Senate next week.

When pressed about the fact that the arctic is melting, and whether that helps prove climate change is real, Cruz dismissed it.

“Other parts are going up. It is not – you know, you always have to be worried about something that is considered a so-called scientific theory that fits every scenario. Climate change, as they have defined it, can never be disproved, because whether it gets hotter or whether it gets colder, whatever happens, they’ll say, well, it’s changing, so it proves our theory,” argued Cruz.

“I am always troubled by a theory that fits every perfect situation. You know, back in the ’70s – I remember the ’70s, we were told there was global cooling. And everyone was told global cooling was a really big problem. And then that faded. And then we were told by Al Gore and others there was global warming and that was going to be a big problem. And then it morphed. It wasn’t global warming anymore, it became climate change. And the problem with climate change is there’s never been a day in the history of the world in which the climate is not changing,” said Cruz.

  1. Refused dreams by their margin can excuse few gratuities. Mr. Cruz has as much intellectual investment in science as the jewish people have an investment in Santa Clause.

Grass does not grow in the fields of suffering prayers. Ted Cruz indeed is asking for a new holocaust against environmentally enlightened minds. If you are a jew and gravitate towards Mr. Cruz, take your shoes off and stay a while. He might just tell us that new hopes in Better lives are also short lived. Mr. Cruz is the torquemada of greener pastures. And I will survive his lackluster years.

  2. To anonymous

A very scientific response indeed. Isn’t that typical of you and your kind if you can not prove them just insult them.

  3. aANONYMOUS IS THE AUTHOR NOT ONLY OF THIS COMMENT but of a ‘Rock n Roll’ song called”dazed and confused”.

AND AL GORE IS A CLIMATOLOGIST?..a scientist? intellect.
    Environmentally elightened minds?

Its called cyclical weather patterns ever since Hashem created the world.

YOU should be EMBARRASSED TO SAY THAT YOU BOUGHT HIS BOOK which contributed to his billion dollar empire of sun panels and other schemes that obama supported at the tune of 3 projects totalliing approx 1 trillion dollars of what ever the total cost was.

    lol, dazed and confused..anonymous

  4. It is a very understatement of the very people who suffered the holocaust not even a century today to read the above responses from my fellow “yidden” who accuse me of being a little peon in the soup of non-extreme inside direction. It would be a nice thing if there was more conversation about the realities of this gentile world that is being proposed before us in such ways that there is future only in the limited hand of silence and lost preparation for good discretion. Ted Cruz is not an American Patriot, unless you think that a broken hat from the revolutionary war is a peace asset.

    To Dacon:
I know you and have spoken with you before. You are not well and I hope you prepare better for trust in Hashem than you do for your paltalk escapades. Torah is not a trash musical expression. You have not touched even the hand of human interest in my views. Sorry.

    G-d Bless America.

  5. We just had the fourth warmest January since 1880. There is no question that the earth has gotten warmer since then; the big questions are what caused the warming and what to do about it. It is also unclear why the largest amount of warming has been in the Arctic, and why the warming has gone in spurts rather than continuously. But the fact that the earth is significantly warmer than in the past is not for dispute.
