Fatah Gunmen Demand PA Pay Raise

Muhammad al-Ashkar, a spokesman for the group in Tulkarem, said that he and his comrades would stage demonstrations if a raise wasn’t forthcoming, noting that a hunger-strike may be coming if they don’t get an increase in their pay.

About 20 Fatah terrorists agreed 4 years ago to lay down their weapons in return for a pardon from Israel. Since that time, said al-Ashkar, each of the gunmen has been receiving a monthly salary of 1500 shekel from the PA government.
