GOP Goes On Offense With 20-week Abortion Vote

Anti-abortion activists celebrated when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced that a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks would be brought to the floor for a vote next week.

Activists think the 20-week abortion ban is a potent election issue for 2018, particularly against Democrats hailing from red-leaning states who are expected to vote against the bill.

“It’s just a matter of time until we get 60 votes,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), the sponsor of the Senate bill. Seventeen states already ban abortions at 20 weeks of pregnancy, according to the Guttmacher Institute. Read more at The Hill.

    • Who should bring it back? Trump’s GOP? His good friend who spoke the last night of GOP convention publicly declared his toeiva, and the GOP crowd cheered. As long as Trump is in, don’t think DOMA has a chance. And by the time Trump is finished, don’t really see this coming back.

      • If Pence somehow becomes President (who knows what could happen with Trump?), I can see Mike, a good decent moral Christian, signing DOMA into law. Mike Pence is an upstanding God fearing righteous Gentile.

    • President Trump is a very moral upstanding person and would definitely be the right person to bring it back of only the lawless unethical liberals and Democraps would allow him.

  1. The shameless question is whether murder after 20 weeks is approved? SICK! And what about murder before 20 weeks? STOP THE MURDER ALTOGETHER.
These murderers are suddenly “compassionate” when it come to terrorists entering the US.
