An IDF soldier was lightly injured Tuesday afternoon in a possible car-ramming terrorist attack on Route 443, near the Atarot Junction north of Yerushalayim, TOI reports.
Police said the apparent car-ramming occurred at a checkpoint at the entrance to the West Bank Palestinian village of Beit Ur al-Tahta, the hometown of one of the terrorists who carried out a deadly stabbing in the nearby settlement of Beit Choron on Monday.
The vehicle which hit the soldier was seen fleeing into the Palestinian village, and IDF forces were searching the area for the driver.
