The Israeli military said it destroyed a “terror tunnel” built by Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday.”
On Saturday evening an additional terrorist tunnel of the Hamas terrorist organization in the area of the Erez crossing was neutralized,” a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, adding that the tunnel was attacked by fighter jets.
Gazan news agency Shehab reported that Israeli aircraft fired seven missiles in the north of the enclave, including a power station in Beit Hanoun, in Gaza’s northeast tip. That was not confirmed by the IDF.
